Founder and Artist: Rachel Buchan-Schueler

As a lifelong Mutli-media Artist, I work with everything from sketching, painting, pottery/clay, woodworking, fabrication, sewing, fiber arts to digital artwork. I really fell in love with it all while painting and building sets for Little Theatre of Norfolk and Virginia Beach while finishing high school.   I have since lived in New Jersey for the past 15 years, picking up new mediums along the way!  I have a passion for entomology and art.  Previous experience as a program coordinator, art tutor, and brand ambassador has allowed me to become a  confident instructor.  I love to create and hope to teach and inspire other artists at heart! 

 

I created Paper Wasp Art Studio LLC as a way to both share my work and make an impact on my local community by sharing my skillsets and knowledge.  The use of secondhand or recycled materials while practicing sustainability is very important to both my work and practices.  Paper Wasp Art Studio LLC is proud to open its door in South Jersey!
